The country's premier bourse Wednesday witnessed increased participation as many investors took position on large-cap sectors.
On the day, the turnover on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) crossed Tk 5.0 billion mark after three sessions. The DSE broad index DSEX also closed marginally higher amid daylong volatility.
According to International Leasing Securities, the benchmark index of the premier bourse witnessed an appreciation amid optimism among the investors.
"The market started on a positive vibe, but it went into the red zone as the investors started selling spree in the middle of the session," said the International Leasing Securities.
However, in the last half an hour of the trading session, investors took position on the large-cap stocks which helped the market to bounce back to the green, said the International Leasing Securities.
