IPDC Finance PLC has marked a major milestone in its journey of corporate governance with the successful conclusion of its 100th Board Audit Committee meeting on May 13, says a statement.
This landmark 100th session has been convened under the leadership of Sarwar Azam Khan, Chairman of Board Audit Committee, in presence of Abdullah Al Mahmud Md. Kayes, Head of Internal Control and Compliance. Audit Committee members, including Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib, Independent Director, and Maqsura Noor, a Director nominated by the government, and Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC, were also present.
"This 100th meeting is not just a number, it's a powerful reflection of our commitment to ethical conduct, effective risk management, and transparency across all levels of the organization," said Sarwar Azam Khan, Chairman of the Board Audit Committee.
Since its inception, the Audit Committee has played a critical role in shaping IPDC Finance's governance framework overseeing compliance, internal control compliance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
