The initial public offering (IPO) lottery of Olympic Accessories Ltd (OAL) will be held today (Wednesday) to allocate shares among the investors, officials said.
IPO lottery will be held at 3:30pm at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Dhaka to allocate shares among the successful investors, officials said.
The company's IPO subscription hit around 50 times high against its public offer. The company's total IPO subscription stood above Tk 10.13 billion against public issue of Tk 200 million, according to final data from the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
Of the total subscription amount - Tk 6.02 billion from general investors, Tk 675.69 million from affected small investors, Tk 431.56 million from non-resident Bangladeshis and Tk 3.0 billion from mutual funds, the port city data showed.
IPO subscription of the company was held on April 19 to April 23 for resident Bangladeshis while it was continued till May 2 for non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).
