Islami Bank Bangladesh awarded the highest taxpayer in the banking sector

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has been awarded the highest taxpayer in the banking sector in 2016-2017 tax year. State Minister for Finance MA Mannan handed over the crest and tax card to Md Abdul Hamid Miah, Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank, at the Kor Bahadur Poribar O Sera Kordata Sommanona ceremony in the city on Wednesday. Dr Abdur Razzak, Chairman, Parliamentary standing Committee on Ministry of Finance, and Md Nojibur Rahman, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue, were also present.
