Islami Bank wins int'l finance award

Islami Bank Bangladesh has been awarded the 'International Finance Award 2023' in the category of 'Most Innovative Private Commercial Bank in Bangladesh'. The award was presented by International Finance Magazine -- a UK-based publication, according to a statement.
Islami Bank Bangladesh received the award at a ceremony held recently in Dubai.
The bank was recognised for its efficiency in Islamic banking, deposit management, investment services, import and export operations, remittances, financial inclusion initiatives, new product development and overall performance.
The award is based on a global ranking conducted by International Finance Magazine, and published by International Finance Publication Limited in the UK. The magazine researches the talent, leadership skills, financial growth and capabilities of financial institutions worldwide.
