Janata Bank, Agrani Bank donate one-day salary for flood victims

Janata Bank PLC has made a donation equivalent to one-day salary of all levels of employees to the Chief adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for the flood-affected people, said a press release on Sunday.
The recent devastating floods have caused immense damage and sufferings to the people in Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, Sunamganj and Habiganj.
Managing Director of the bank Md Abdul Jabbar said, "We have come forward unitedly to stand by the flood victims in these times of crisis. Janata Bank will always work towards humanitarian needs in the interest of the country."
Meanwhile, Agrani Bank PLC also made a donation equivalent to one-day salary of all levels of employees to the Chief adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for the flood-affected people, says a press release.
The Bank made this decision on Sunday in the wake of devastating floods wreaking havoc in different parts of the country.
The Agrani Bank family also expressed sympathy for the flood-affected families.
