JANATA BANK HOLDS ALCO MEETING -

A meeting of the Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) of Janata Bank PLC was held at the bank's head office on Sunday, with Deputy Managing Director Md. Fayaz Alam in the chair. General managers and deputy general managers concerned attended the meeting. Fayaz Alam set strategic directions in light of the current situation, placing emphasis on increasing deposits, automated transactions and foreign remittances, as well as strengthening recovery of classified loans and intensifying efforts to recover bad loans.
