Md. Hanif Miah Md. Hanif Miah, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, has recently been appointed as a Director to the Board of Directors of Karmasang-sthan Bank for a tenure of three years, says a statement.
Md. Hanif started off his career as an Assistant Director at Bangladesh Bank, Barishal Office, after completion of a nine-month Foundation Training in 1996.
During his tenure, he served in various important departments, including Internal Audit and Inspection Department, Department of Financial Institutions (DFI), Equity and Entrepreneurship Fund Unit (EEFU) of Bangladesh Bank.
He has been serving as Executive Director (ED) of BBTA since July 8, 2024. With the prior permission of Bangladesh Bank, he also worked as a visiting faculty in seven private universities and one institute from November 2005 to March 2020.
Md. Hanif did his MBA from Northern University Bangladesh. He completed M.Sc in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology from the University of Dhaka. He is also a diploma associate of IBB.
