KBCCI AGM held

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2014 of Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KBCCI) was held recently in the city.
The AGM was chaired by Mr. Do-Kee (Harry) Park, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KBCCI.  Mr. Lee Yun-young, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, was the Chief Guest at the meeting.
The Special Guests were Mr. Jinhak Hur, Trade Representative (Director General) of KOTRA (Korea Trade Association) and Ms. Kim Bok-Hee, Resident Representative, KOICA Bangladesh.
During his welcome speech, the CEO gave the new members of the Chamber a presentation on the brief history of KBCCI, followed by the various activities carried out by KBCCI and thereafter he also introduced the new Board of Directors of the Chamber.
The new Directors then introduced themselves to the members present and followed by which Engr. Mr. S. M. Kamaluddin, President of KBCCI and Mr. Mohammed Riyadh Ali, new Secretary General of KBCCI gave their welcome addresses.
The CEO then presented the Financial Reports and Annual Report of KBCCI to the members present, which were then proposed and seconded and thereafter approved unanimously by the members.
Following the end of business of the meeting, 15 new members of the Chamber were presented with crests of appreciation from the President of KBCCI. The AGM was attended by a good number of members.
