KL investors for building economic zone in Bangladesh

An eight-member delegation of Malaysia-based Ttijaya, Greenland Group, World Lin Chamber of Commerce and BRC Global, met Md Sirazul Islam (left-middle), Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in the city on Monday

Malaysia -based investors have expressed their interest to build an economic zone in Bangladesh.

They showed their interest when an eight-member delegation of Malaysia-owned Ttijaya, Greenland Group, World Lin Chamber of Commerce and BRC Global, met Md Sirazul Islam, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), said a statement.

Md Sirazul Islam highlighted on the congenial environment of investment in Bangladesh.

BIDA Director Md Ariful Huq presented a visual power point presentation titled "Investment climate and opportunities in Bangladesh".

The delegation appreciated the economic development of Bangladesh. They expressed their interest to invest in real estate and other sectors to strengthen the bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
