Lafarge annual distributors\\\' meet held

Lafarge Surma Cement Limited organized an annual distributors' meet 2014 recently at a city hotel. A total of 52 distributors from all over the country took part at the event titled 'Partners in Progress.'

The meet was organised to thank the distributors and their family members for their extensive support and celebrate the successes of 2013 as one big family. The best performing distributors were also awarded with a certificate and crest at the ceremony.

Lafarge Surma Cement Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tarek Elba, Finance Director Masud Khan, Marketing Director Shamarukh Fakhruddin and other high officials of the company were present on the occasion, according to a press release.

Mr Tarek Elba said "The theme of tonight's program is 'partners in progress'. To me that means not only celebrating the progress we have made together over the years, but also looking forward to the progress that we hope to achieve together in the future." He also thanked the distributors for achieving the company's goals during 2013, which was a challenging year for the business. He hoped that the partners will continue their support to achieve Lafarge Surma Cement's goals in the future.

Lafarge Finance Director Masud Khan & Marketing Director Shamarukh also spoke on the occasion.
