LafargeHolcim BD receives Green Factory Award

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited (LHBL) has been awarded the 'Green Factory Award 2023' by the government. The Ministry of Labour and Employment presented the award in recognition of LHBL's efforts towards implementing eco-friendly technologies and maintaining a safe workplace at its Sunamganj Plant. Mohammad Iqbal Chowdhury, CEO of LHBL, received the award from Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, MP, speaker of the National Parliament, at a ceremony on Sunday in Dhaka. State Minister for Labour and Employment Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, MP, and other public officials were also present.
