Online real estate and car marketplaces-lamudi.com.bd and carmudi.com.bd respectively-are getting good responses from the users since their launching in November, 2013 in Bangladesh, officials said.
Backed by the German-based world's leading internet incubator Rocket Internet GmBH, "Lamudi and Carmudi enable the customers to easily find, buy, sell and rent house, apartment, commercial property, land and cars from the online markets," they said.
"We are happy with the people's responses that even crossed our level of expectation in Bangladesh," Riaz Mahmud, senior marketing communication executive, Lamudi Bangladesh, told the FE.
"The over-expected responses were natural, because we posted authenticated information on both the websites," he continued.
Salient features of lamudi.com.bd include: diverse property offers, intuitive website set-up and high security standards to avoid cheating.
