Low-cost internet services to rural people aimed at

Cambium Networks, a global leading wireless broadband solution provider, has started its journey in Bangladesh with its allied Cloud Wireless Networks (CWN) aiming to connect rural people with low- cost internet services.

To reach the targeted group of unconnected people, the network has introduced a unique wireless broadband technology--eFortify and eCommand, officials at a programme said Thursday.

Director of Engineering of the Cambium Network Sakid Ahmed said for attracting the clients, the global brand also introduced various product models like ePMP 1000 GPS sync Radio, ePMP 1000 integrated Radio, EPMP 1000, Connectorzed Radio and ePMP Force100.

He was speaking at a press conference followed by a 'Road Show' in the capital on the day. Regional Sales Director of the Cambium Networks Shrikant Gupta also spoke on the occasion.

Besides, representatives from the wireless service providers (WiSPSs), Wireless System Architects, CCTV System Integrators, Fixed Wireless Network Designers and mobile operators were present on the occasion.

Mr Sakid said that the wireless network service provider is committed to connecting the underprivileged and people in remote areas with the internet service at a cheaper rate.

He said ePMP 1000, the Cambium Networks' ePMP wireless broadband solutions are the first to bring field-proven reliability, GSP-sync-enabled scalability and high quality service performance.

The CWN is fully wireless communication based sales and service provider company. It is successfully delivering products and providing services to several sectors including defence and garment industry of Bangladesh for two and a half years.
