M-cap of 4 Sensex cos dives Rs 190.49b

MUMBAI, Jan 26 (PTI): Dragged down by Coal India and Reliance Industries, the combined market valuation of four of the top 10 Sensex companies fell by Rs 190.49 billion last week.
Reliance, ITC, ONGC and Coal India lost market value in a week when the benchmark Sensex rose 69.94 points to 21,133.56.
The market capitalisation of Coal India slumped Rs 93.79 billion to Rs 1628.99 billion.
Reliance's valuation plunged Rs 56.71 billion to Rs 2801.71 billion, while the m-cap of ONGC slipped Rs 36.36 billion to Rs 2423.34 billion.
The value of ITC fell by Rs 3.63 billion to Rs 2574.21 billion.
Six of the top 10 companies cumulatively added Rs 161.56 billion in market capitalisation.
TCS added Rs 63.66 billion to Rs 4403.51 billion, while Wipro's market value jumped Rs 51.19 billion to Rs 1413.30 billion.
The valuation of Infosys increased Rs 17.80 billion to Rs 2158.58 billion and HDFC Bank's value rose by Rs 13.53 billion to Rs 1613.83 billion.
