Major General Md Shafinul Islam (left), director general of Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB), handed over a cheque for BDT 125.20 million to Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, Principal Secretary to the PM, in virtual presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday to fight the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. The fund came from one day salary of all BGB staff and BGB Welfare Fund.
