KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 18 (Xinhua): Malaysia's exports increased for the second consecutive month, growing by 4.1 per cent year on year to 126.57 billion ringgit (28.31 billion U. S. dollars) in November, official data showed Wednesday.
The increase in exports was supported by robust growth in key sectors, notably manufactured and agriculture goods, particularly electrical and electronic products, palm oil and palm oil-based agriculture products as well as machinery, equipment and parts, the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement.
Malaysia's trade in November expanded by 2.9 per cent year on year to 237.85 billion ringgit. Its imports were 1.6 per cent higher at 111.28 billion ringgit.
