Market valuation of top 5 Sensex cos fall by Rs 369.72b

NEW DELHI, Sept 14 (PTI): The market valuation of top five Sensex companies fell by Rs 369.72 billion last week, with ONGC and Sun Pharma being the worst hit.

While ONGC, RIL, CIL, Infosys and Sun Pharma saw losses in their market capitalisation (m-cap), TCS, ITC, HDFC Bank, SBI and ICICI Bank witnessed gains.

The m-cap of ONGC plunged Rs 114.22 billion to Rs 3671.59 billion, while Sun Pharma lost Rs 107.49 billion to Rs 1669.10 billion from its valuation.

Coal India's value dipped Rs 84.01 billion at Rs 2260.94 billion; Infosys (Rs 33.28 billion at Rs 2108.80 billion) and RIL (Rs 30.73 billion at Rs 3285.02 billion).
