Arfan Ali, President and Managing Director of the Bank Asia Ltd. and Rajeev Kumar Gupta, Programme Manager, SHIFT SAARC and ASEAN, UNCDF signed and exchanged contract on behalf of respective institutions in an event at Westin, Dhaka. The contract has been signed for launching a pilot implementation of innovative business model digitizing micro-merchants transactions in Sirajganj, Jamalpur and Sherpur districts by Bank Asia in partnership withGrameenphone Limited and MicroSave in association with UNCDF SHIFT supported by European Union.
