Mercantile Bank organised its 'Risk Conference 2024' on Saturday. Md. Mezbaul Haque, executive director, Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Md. Anwarul Haq, chairman of the board, and Mohammad Abdul Awal, chairman of the bank's Risk Management Committee, spoke in the conference as the guest of honour. M. A. Khan Belal, chairman, executive committee; M. Amanullah, sponsor director; and Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of the bank, spoke at the meeting as special guests. Mahmuda Haque, joint director, and Robin Chandra Paul, deputy director from Department of Off-Site Supervision (DOS) (Division-2), Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session as resource persons. Md. Zakir Hossain, deputy managing director (DMD) and chief risk officer (acting) of the bank, delivered his welcome speech. Md. Nasim Alam, deputy chief risk officer (acting), gave his vote of thanks. Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed and Ashim Kumar Saha, DMDs, participated in the conference, among others.
