Mercantile Bank launches new features in 'MBL Rainbow' app

Mercantile Bank added new features in its digital banking app "MBL Rainbow", according to a statement.
Managing Director Mati Ul Hasan launched the newly added services at the bank's Head Office on Sunday.
Mati Ul Hasan said in his speech that from now on customers can instantly open a bank account with only their NIDs.
Other services accessible through the app include: transferring funds to other banks through RTGS, BEFTN and instantly with NPSB, transferring funds to mobile financial services, bKash & Nagad, recharge their mobile, withdraw cash from branches using 'Branch QR Code', make tax, passport fees and many other government fees payment at A-Challan (Automated Challan), pay Utility (DESCO, DPDC, NESCO, WZPDCL, Jalalabad Gas, Khulna WASA & Dhaka WASA etc.) bills, insurance premium, educational institution fees.
DMDs Md. Zakir Hossain, Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed, Ashim Kumar Saha and Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain; CFO Dr. Tapash Chandra Paul, SEVP & Chief Credit Officer Shah Md. Sohel Khurshid, SEVP & Head of International Division Mohammad Iqbal Rezwan, SEVP & Head of Main Branch Md. Abdul Halim, were present at the occasion, among others.
