Mercantile Bank launches Western Union services at all SBAC outlets

Mercantile Bank Limited has recently launched Western Union Money Transfer Services at all the branch outlets of South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce Bank Ltd (SBAC).
An agreement was signed in this regard between the two banks. M Ehsanul Haque, Managing Director & CEO of Mercantile Bank Limited and Md. Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director & CEO of SBAC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective banks.
With this agreement, Bangladeshi expatriates living and working abroad will be able to send their hard-earned money to their relatives residing in the country quickly and conveniently through any outlet of SBAC.
Currently, Western Union operates remittance business from 200 countries across the world.
Besides, Mr. Naved Ashraf, Senior Country Manager, Western Union, Mr. Mr. Monindra Kumar Nath, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Mr. Mohammad Masoom, Mr. Mati Ul Hasan & Mr. Mohammad Ismail, Deputy Managing Directors of Mercantile Bank Limited and Mr. Md. Dilwar Hossain Bhuiyan & Mr. Md. Shawkat Ali, Deputy Managing Directors of SBAC along with other high officials of the respective organisations were also present on the occasion.
