MERCANTILE BANK WORKSHOP ON 'PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING'

The Mercantile Bank Training Institute organised a daylong workshop on 'Prevention of Money Laundering & Combating the Financing of Terrorism' recently. The bank's Managing Director Mati Ul Hasan inaugurated the workshop. Shamim Ahmed, deputy managing director (DMD) and CAMLCO of the bank, delivered the welcome address. Mahmudul Ameen Masud, a faculty member of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), conducted a session. Javed Tariq, principal of the training institute, moderated the inaugural session.
