Midland Bank PLC (MDB) organised its Half-Yearly Strategic Conference 2026 on Saturday at Fortis Downtown Resort in Dhaka. The conference brought together the bank's Senior Management Team (SMT), Heads of Divisions, Unit Heads, Area Heads, Cluster Heads, Heads of Branches and Sub-Branches, Relationship Managers, and other key officials to review the bank's business performance for the first half of 2026 and formulate strategies for achieving its business goals for the remaining months of the year. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Midland Bank, was present as the chief guest. The business sessions were inaugurated and chaired by Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank. Didarul Islam, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), presented the Bank's overall financial performance.
