Md. Ahsan-uz-Zaman, managing director & CEO of Midland Bank, received a Mastercard affiliated membership licence from Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager of Mastercard Bangladesh, at a ceremony held at the bank's head office in Dhaka on Sunday. This partnership establishes Midland Bank as a Mastercard-affiliated member, enabling the bank to issue Mastercard credit, debit, and prepaid cards, and allowing customers to enjoy seamless ATM, point of sale, and e-commerce transactions worldwide. The licence handover ceremony was also attended by Md. Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director & CRO of the bank, among others.
