Modhumoti Bank donated Tk 1.8 million to "Bangladesh Eye TruSst Hospital" under the bank's corporate social responsibility programme on Thursday for cataract surgeries of underprivileged eye patients in rural areas. Md. Shafiul Azam, managing director & CEO of Modhumoti Bank, handed over the cheque to Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury, chairman of Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital, at the hospital in Kamal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka.
