NRB Bank Chairman honoured

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of NRB Bank Ltd. and Chairman & Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies, UAE, along with his spouse Bayzun N Chowdhury, Director of NRB Bank; his son Mohammed Emadur Rahman, Director of Al Arafah Islami Bank, daughter-in-law Farhana Ahmed, Shareholder of NRB Bank, younger brother Mohammed Oliur Rahman, Director of NRBC Bank, and two nephews Dr. Mohammed Ehsanur Rahman and Mohammed Ashfaqur Rahman, both are directors of NRB Bank, has been honoured as Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the government for their outstanding contribution to the country's economy. They received the CIP awards at a ceremony held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka recently. Mahtabur Rahman has also clinched the title of the 'Highest Remittance Sender' for the year 2021 & 2022 in the NRB category. He achieved the CIP status for consecutive 11 years.
