Morshed appointed SCB's Legal Affairs head

Standard Chartered Bangladesh (SCB) has appointed Morshed Ullah as the head of its Legal Affairs, says a press release.
Morshed will also join the Country Management Team of SCB, according to a press release on Wednesday.
Morshed joined the SCB as Legal Counsel in 2014 and most recently held the role of Head of Legal for Corporate & Investment Banking. Prior to this, he worked with Airtel Bangladesh Limited, Warid Telecom Int'l LLC, practised law in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, and also served as a civil judge in the subordinate judiciary of Bangladesh. He has a total of 21 years of professional experience.
Morshed completed his Master of Laws from the University of Dhaka and also holds an Islamic Finance Level-3 Qualification from Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI).
