K A R M Mostafa Kamal has been appointed deputy managing director and chief human resources & logistics officer of IFIC Bank recently, according to a press release.
Mr. Kamal previously served as the bank's head of Human Resource Management.
He joined IFIC Bank in June 2015 as senior executive vice president and head of HR.
He began his professional career as a young officer in the Bangladesh Army, where he served for 34 years.
During his time in the military, Mr Kamal held various senior positions and gained extensive experience in human resource management, business process improvement, security and logistics at a high level, the press release said.
He also held significant positions at Trust Bank and the Army Welfare Trust.
Throughout his career, Mr Kamal has participated in various training programmes, seminars and workshops both domestically and internationally.
He currently is a director of IFIC Securities Ltd, appointed by IFIC Bank, the press release added.
