MS Siddiqui made adviser to BCC

The government has appointed legal economist M S Siddiqui as honorary non-government adviser (NGA) to the Bangladesh Competition Commission (BCC).

BCC recently issued a notification on his appointment for a two-year term. He will perform the responsibility as per guideline of International Competition Network (ICN). He will also be attached to working group on ICN of the commission, said a statement.

Mr Siddiqui is CEO of Bangla Chemical and trainer at various business chambers and trade associations. He was also president of Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association.
