MTB FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES LIVELIHOOD ASSET GRANTS
MTB Foundation distributed livelihood asset grants to a large number of vulnerable households as part of a project. Under the project, the foundation distributed materials for crab farming, duck farming, homestead gardening, and small businesses to the fishing communities in Bheola Manik Char and Kaiyarbill unions of Chakaria, Cox's Bazar. Female household members will drive the income generating activities during the fishing ban, aiming to maintain an income source throughout the year. Samia Chowdhury, CEO, MTB Foundation, among others, was present at the event organised for the distribution.
