MTB PARTNERS WITH PETROCHEM TO PROMOTE AGRI-FINANCE

Mutual Trust Bank and Petrochem Bangladesh Limited have joined hands to ease financing for farmers and retailers. This partnership will enable credit facilities nationwide to procure agro-inputs from Petrochem's authorised dealers. This initiative is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity by ensuring access to micro-nutrient fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, plant growth regulators and seeds. The agreement was exchanged by MTB's AMD & Chief Business Officer Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan and Petrochem Group Managing Director Saif Uddowlah, in the presence of MTB's Managing Director & CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman, among others.
