Marginal farmers get MTB Loan: Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) gave away loan disbursement cheques to marginal farmers at a ceremony in Jashore on Tuesday. SM Hasan Reza, Executive Director, Bangladesh Bank, Khulna Office, was present as the chief guest and Md Ruhul Amin, Upazila Krishi Officer, as special guest while Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, MTB, presided over the event. Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) arranged an open loan disbursement ceremony at Bagherpara, Jashore, on Tuesday for the marginal 10-Taka account holders, says a statement.
In the event, marginal farmers were handed over loan disbursement cheques to finance their cow fattening business activities.
Under its financial inclusion initiative, MTB had also earlier arranged several such events in different northern districts over the years for marginal farmers.
