The Board of Directors of Global Insurance Limited (GIL) in its recent board meeting has unanimously elected Md Abdul Muqtadir as chairman of the company. Muqtadir had also been elected chairman of the company during the year 2012-2013, said a statement.
Mr Muqtadir completed his undergraduate degree at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Civil Engineering in 1975 and completed post graduation in Highway and Traffic Engineering in the University of NSW, Sydney, Australia.
He is the managing director of Infrastructure Services Ltd and Kiriti Holdings Ltd.
