Mercantile Islami Insurance PLC held the 221st meeting and election of its Board of Directors recently at the Head Office of the company. The meeting unanimously elected Md Nabi Ullah as chairman of the company, re-elected AM Ershad Chowdhury as vice-chairman, Abdul Mannan Mazumder as chairman of the Executive Committee and Mohammed Solaiman as chairman of the claims committee. Also, the Board of Directors re-elected Independent Director Nur Amin as chairman of the Audit Committee and Independent Director Md Salam Obaidul Karim as chairman of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee.
