NAGAD PARTNERS WITH MIDLAND BANK FOR DELIVERY OF REMITTANCES

Nagad has partnered with Midland Bank PLC to streamline the delivery of remittances to the recipients across the country. Managing Director and CEO of the bank Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed and Nagad Administrator Md Motasem Billah signed the partnership agreement at the bank's head office in Dhaka recently. Under the partnership, remittances sent by Bangladeshi expatriates will be credited directly to beneficiaries' Nagad mobile wallets via Midland Bank, using authorised channels including international exchange houses, money transfer operators and banks. Senior officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony.
