National Housing approves 15.00pc cash dividend

The 16th Annual General Meeting of National Housing Finance And Investments Limited was held on Tuesday at Lakeshore Hotel in the city. The Company approved 15.00 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2014.

The Meeting was presided over by Latifur Rahman, chairman of the company. ICC Bangladesh president Mahbubur Rahman also attended.

The Meeting was presided over by Mr. Latifur Rahman, Chairman of the company and was attended by its Directors, Promoters, Chairman of Audit Committee and a large number of Shareholders along with Mr. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Managing Director and Mr. Md. Sarwar Kamal, ACS, Company Secretary. The shareholders thanked Mr. Latifur Rahman, Chairman, and the Members of the staff for their hard work and dedication for the success of the Company.

National Housing is one of the largest financial institutions in the country engaged with Home loan & Lease Finance.

Total shareholders' equity of the company is Tk.1,502.69 million as on December 31, 2014 and earned Tk. 209.60 million as Net profit after tax during the year 2014.
