NBL launches MasterCard Platinum Credit Card

National Bank Limited (NBL) has launched Platinum Credit Card in Bangladesh.
In this connection, a launching ceremony was organised in the city Thursday, said a press release.
Among others, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Shitangshu Kumar Sur Chowdhury, Director of NBL Ron Haque Sikder, Managing Director of NBL Shamsul Huda Khan and Country Manager of MasterCard Bangladesh Syed Mohammad Kamal were present at the launching ceremony.
The new Platinum Credit Card offers a wide variety of exclusive privileges including "buy-one-get-one" offer for buffet lunch or dinner at Grandiose Restaurant of Dhaka Regency, Free access at Balaka Executive Lounge of Ruposhi Bangla Hotel Bangladesh, Priority Passenger Handling Service at Hajrat Shahjalal International Airport along with three companions, one free corporate health check-up at United Hospital, free Card for lifetime and discount offers at over 250 major merchant outlets.
Speaking on the occasion, the managing director of NBL reaffirmed the commitment of the bank to serve the country with technology-based services.
He said, "We are delighted to be able to provide the world class technology-based services to our customers through different initiatives by which the country will move to cashless transactions at rural areas also as the bank strongly believes to expand its services for the development of the country".
Addressing the ceremony, the Country Manager of MasterCard Bangladesh said, "MasterCard is committed to providing premium services to our customers by enabling personalised services according to the need of the client. Cardholders now have the opportunity to get rewarded for their regular expenses while continuing to enjoy a safe, secure and convenient shopping experience. We are also hopeful that the introduction of this card will further promote electronic payments in the country."
