NCC Bank officials urged to carry on growth

Branch managers and officials concerned of NCC Bank have been urged to put their sincere efforts to continue the growth of the bank and enhance the image of it as well.
Managing Director & CEO of the bank Golam Hafiz Ahmed made the appeal while delivering his presidential address at the inaugural session of a two-day Half Yearly Business Conference of Branch Managers' and Executives of NCC Bank in the city Thursday, said a press release.
The managing director gave a detailed account of the performance of the bank in different areas namely deposit mobilisation, business procurement and foreign trade expansion during the last six months.
Chairman of the bank SM Abu Mohsin inaugurated the conference as the chief guest.
Vice Chairman of the bank Sohela Hossain, Chairman of the Executive Committee Md Nurun Newaz Salim, Chairman of the Audit Committee Md Amirul Islam and Director M Harunur Rashid were present at the inaugural session as the special guests.
Among others, deputy managing directors Akhtar Hamid Khan, Md Fazlur Rahman and AZM Saleh were present at the conference.
The meeting evaluated the performance of the branches for the last six months and adopted necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the target as per annual business plan for the remaining part of the year.
In his address, the chief guest said banking is not now a days just procuring deposit and lending money in conventional way to which we are habituated.
Situation has changed, we must be aware of this changed situation and steps should be taken to face the same, he added.
