NCC Bank opens gym, medical centre

NCC Bank Chairman Md. Nurun Newaz Selim cutting a ribbon to open a gymnasium and a medical centre set up at the NCC Bank Bhaban at Mitijheel, Dhaka recently in presence of chairmen of different committees, directors and senior executives
A sophisticated gymnasium was established at the 21st floor of NCC Bank Bhaban in Motijheel, Dhaka to keep the body and mind of the bank employees active and to create health awareness, according to a statement.
Chairman of the bank Md. Nurun Newaz Selim inaugurated the gym recently while Chairman of the Executive Committee S.M. Abu Mohsin, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Yakub Ali Montu, Chairman of the Audit Committee Md. Amirul Islam FCA, FCS, Directors Khairul Alam Chaklader, Abdus Salam and Amjadul Ferdous Chowdhury, and Managing Director & CEO Mosleh Uddin Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Besides, Deputy Managing Directors Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, A Z M Saleh and Md. Habibur Rahman, and SEVP & Head of Operations Muhammad H. Kafi along with other senior executives of the bank were present at the ceremony.
Chairman of the bank Md. Nurun Newaz Selim said there is no substitute of exercises to keep the body and mind intensified. Prolific mind and good health help enhancing the efficiency of a person.
Considering the hard work of bank officials and employees, the gym has been inaugurated to make their health fit as well as a 3-bed medical centre has been inaugurated.
He said NCC Bank has not only considered profit but also took the initiative for such facilities considering the welfare of the officers and employees.
