The board of directors of NCC Bank Limited has recently re-elected S. M. Abu Mohsin as chairman of the executive committee, Yakub Ali Montu as chairman of the risk management committee and Md. Amirul Islam as chairman of the audit committee of the board, according to a statement.
Chairman of the executive committee, S. M. Abu Mohsin is a businessman and industrialist.
Mr. Mohsin is the Chairman of Alliance Deep Sea Fishing Limited, JM Shipping Lines, Food & Accommodation Company Limited and Managing Director of Brothers Oxygen Limited.
His father Late S. M. Mozaherul Haq was the founder of Mozaher Group of Industries. Mr. Mohsin is also the sponsor director of Continental Insurance Limited and director of Central Hospital Ltd.
Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Yakub Ali Montu is a businessman of the country.
Mr. Yakub Ali was the Vice President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). He was also a director of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
He was associated with the organisations, namely Ali Fashion Limited, Anwoara Paper Mills Limited, Diamond Cement Limited, HG Aviation Limited, Maam Textile Mills Limited, Bangladesh Fartiliser & Agro Chemicals Limited, Regent Spinning Mills Limited, Regent Energy and Power Limited.
Chairman of the Audit Committee, Md. Amirul Islam has served BSRS/BDBL for more than 29 years in different important positions such as, General Manager, Senior Consultant and held Additional Charge of the Managing Director of BSRS. Mr. Islam is also Independent Director of Dacca Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited and Hakkani Pulp & Paper Mills Limited. He is presently senior partner of K.M. Hasan & Co. Chartered Accountants and also a senior faculty member of the ICAB.
He has completed his B.Com. (Hons), M. Com. in Management from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Islam is also a qualified Chartered Accountant & Chartered Secretary.
