Nepal Bangladesh Bank chairman re-elected

Mr. Mohammad Lutfar Rahman on Sunday was re-elected as the Chairman of Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd. (NBBL), a joint venture operation of IFIC Bank Ltd. in Nepal, following its 19th AGM in Kathmandu.

Mr. Rahman is also the Executive Committee (EC) Chairman of IFIC Bank Limited, a leading private commercial bank of Bangladesh.

IFIC Bank's Director Mr. Arijit Chowdhury and Managing Director & CEO Mr. Shah Alam Sarwar have also been elected as Members of the Board of Directors in NBBL.

Mr. Madhav Prasad Neupane was elected as Independent Director in the Board while Mr. Deepak Karki, Mr. Mukunda Nath Dhungel and Mr. Arun Shrestha were elected as Members of the Board from general shareholders, said a statement.
