(From left): Bahalul Mansur, Col (Retd) Md Moyenul Haque and Md. Esharot Hossain The newly elected Board of Directors of Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA) took charge on Sunday, according to a press statement.
The new board was elected for 2026 and 2027. The results of the election were formally announced by the Election Board at the Annual General Meeting of BIAA recently.
Bahalul Mansur was elected president of the new Board while Md. Esharot Hossain and freedom fighter Col Md Moyenul Haque (Retd) were elected senior vice-president and vice-president respectively.
The elected directors are Md. Mostafa Sorowar, Al Mahmud Moinul Haque, Md. Bonday Ali Miah, Abu Nawaz Bhuiyan, M Khairul Alam, Mohd. Akhtaruzzaman, Md. Jashim Uddin, Mohammad Aminul Islam, Mohammed Rashed Khaled, Manas Kumar Baral, A B M Saiful Alam, Parna Saha Tuli, Md. Asad Ullah, Ali Haider Mohamed Sazzad, Kazi Shah Alam, Md. Riaz Ahmed, Shohrab Hossain Sumon and Syeed Taslim Ahmed Khan.
