New CEO of Janata Insurance

              Abu Bakkar Siddique
The board of directors of Janata Insurance Company Limited has appointed Muhammad Abu Bakkar Siddique as the company's chief executive officer. The decision was approved by Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) recently, said a press release.
Prior to joining Janata Life Insurance Company, he served as deputy managing director of Federal Insurance Company and additional managing director of Global Insurance Company.
He has 21 years of working experience during which he worked in various non-life insurance companies in different capabilities.
Abu Bakkar completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Masters from History Department of Jagannath University. He later completed LLB.
He has completed the basic and company management courses on insurance law and general insurance.
