New Council Member of ICSB

Md. Zahangir Alam Manik FCS has been elected a new Council Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), said a statement.

A total of three candidates contested in this by-election.

Currently, Mr. Md. Zahangir Alam Manik FCS is serving as the Chairman of Dhaka Regional Chapter Sub Committee of ICSB.

Mr. Manik is working as Company Secretary of Government-owned power generation company, named B-R Powergen Limited under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. He is also the Founder, Council Member & Chairman of the Foundation of Chartered Taxation of Bangladesh (FCTB) which is a non-profit organization engaged in tax awareness, research, tax education, innovation and revenue literacy.
