New DMD of ICB

Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain recently joined as a Deputy Managing Director of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), a state-owned investment institution.

Prior to his joining in the ICB as Deputy Managing Director, he served as a General Manager of Janata Capital and Investment Subsidiary of Janata Bank Ltd. Md. Zakir Hossain joined as a Senior Officer in Janata Bank Ltd. in 1988.

He worked at Janata Bank Ltd under various department and branches such as industrial loan department, Administration division, ITD (Export), Department Head (Compliance and Disciplinary Department) of the bank's head office, PS to CEO & MD, CEO & MD's Secretariat, as Manager (Faridpur Main Branch, Faridpur Corporate Branch, Amin Bazar Branch, Sat Masjid Road Corporate Branch), As Area Head and Head of Branch (Jessore & Khulna), Divisional Head (Faridpur & Khulna) etc. Md. Zakir Hossain completed his graduation and post graduation from the Institute of Social Welfare & Research under Dhaka University in 1987.
