Abdul Hamid Mia has recently been promoted to the post of deputy managing director (DMD) of National Bank Limited (NBL), said press release.
Prior to the promotion, he was the senior executive vice president of the bank.
During his 31 year-long banking career, Mr Mia worked in Sonali Bank, IFIC Bank Limited, Southeast Bank Limited and National Bank Limited as manager.
He also worked as general manager in Oman International Exchange Company, Oman, the release added.
