Debasish Chakrabarty has been promoted and posted as the Managing Director of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) by a notification of Bank & Financial Institution Division of Ministry of Finance.
Prior to this, he served Rupali Bank as a Deputy Managing Director. He also performed additional duties as CEO & Managing Director of the same bank. Besides, he worked in a World Bank project in 1988 and in MIDAS in 1989. He joined BHBFC as Assistant General manager in 1995. He also worked as Deputy General Manager in the same institution, said a statement.
