New MD of BTCL

Dr. Md. Rafiqul Matin

Dr. Md. Rafiqul Matin joined as the managing director of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) on Sunday, said a statement.

Prior to this he was working as the deputy managing director of BTCL and as the Project Director, Cyber Threat Detection and Response Project of Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

After qualifying in the 9th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination he joined Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board as the assistant divisional engineer in 1991.
