New MD of NHFIL

Md Khalilur Rahman has been appointed Managing Director of National Housing Finance and Investments Ltd (NHFIL) for three years with effect from 1st February 2015, said a press release.

Prior to this appointment, he was Managing Director (current charge) of the company. Mr Rahman joined NHFIL as Additional Managing Director in October 2013.

Mr Rahman has more than 35 years experience in various banks & NBFIs at home and abroad. He stated his career with Bangladesh Shilpa Bank as Senior Officer (Financial Analyst) in 1979. He also worked for the IFIC Bank as Senior AVP, Southeast Bank as VP, IIDFC as AMD and BIFC as MD.

Mr Rahman completed his MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka.
